Andy Farrugia Resume

INTRODUCTION

Communicating well and working well go hand in hand. I have seen how productivity and quality improve when an organization develops a communicative environment. Fortunately, the recent growth of electronic technology has provided a host of new tools to aid in the creation of such an environment.

My interests have always been in art, design, craft and technology. I continuously draw from these disciplines while operating in the workplace. This is especially true when tackling projects which require the transmission of technical concepts through formal documentation or in-person support. I believe that my proficiency in conceptualization stems from my understanding of traditional forms of literature and art. I feel that artistic expressions are central to human thought and communication. Modern computing technology and software provide fantastic new tools, but ultimately are only aids to intrinsic human creativity.

Beyond the creative aspects of work, I also enjoy working as part of a team. I am an enthusiastic collaborator, capable of adapting my communication style to meet the needs of my clients and co-workers. I prioritize tasks to meet objectives, while remaining flexible to changing resources and schedules.
